This Liebherr OEM hydraulic slew bearing seal kit is a complete assembly of sealing elements, including elastomer lip seals and bronze support and guide rings, that ensures tightness of all hydraulic channels in the rotation axis center, connecting the stationary chassis to the rotating superstructure. The component is critical because continuous dynamic friction and high-pressure loads cause progressive wear of the seal lips and seal degradation, which can result in cross-leakage between circuits—for example, drive pressure leaking into the brake system—leading to immediate loss of drive control where one track loses power or the parking brake fails to release. Planned replacement of the entire kit during scheduled maintenance is far more economical than emergency repair following failure, which typically requires rotor replacement, complete hydraulic system flushing, and extended machine downtime.
